Arsenal are closing in on signing Petr Cech from Chelsea. The Czech goal keeper, who spent nearly a decade at Chelsea, will be a massive for the Gunners. Jose Mourinho was initially reluctant to sell their star player to a rival club, but Chelsea football club allowed Cech to fulfil his desire to stay in London, as a tribute to his immense contribution to the West London club.
Cech will be the first of many signings to come at the Emirates this summer. Arlene Wenger needs a world class central midfielder and a top striker in the team.
According to reports from German tabloid Bild, Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a top priority target for Arsenal.
Aubameyang was the leading scorer for Dortmund last season, where he scored 25 goals for the Bundesliga club. Bild claims that Arsenal are currently preparing a mammoth 40m bid for the Dortmund attacker.
